As the year comes to an end and the mountains glow in the light of torches, it’s time for a very special highlight at Hochkar: the Torchlight Ski Run on December 31, 2025. Celebrate the last evening of the year in a magical winter atmosphere with torches, fireworks and warm drinks.

Torchlight Ski Run at Hochkar

The torchlight run starts at the Geischlägerhaus and leads through the snow-covered mountain landscape of Hochkar – an impressive experience for both participants and spectators.

Last uphill ride: 3:45 pm
Start of the torchlight run: 5:15 pm

Cozy atmosphere with warm drinks

After the torchlight run, we invite you to enjoy free warm drinks from 5:30 pm at the valley station of the 4-seater Hochkar cable car. A perfect moment to relax and celebrate together.

Free night skiing & fireworks

Following the torchlight run, enjoy free night skiing at the Almlift until 7:00 pm. The evening will be rounded off with a festive fireworks display, making your New Year’s Eve at Hochkar truly unforgettable.
