Description
From the parking lot behind the Hochkarbahn in the direction of the Almgasthof, the hike starts through mountain pine fields and across green meadows. A marked path leads under the Hochkarbahn over the ski slope up to the Hochkar pre-summit past the "small summit cross".
Once you have reached the Hochkar pre-summit, it is only a few meters until you can experience the breathtaking views on the Hochkar 360 degree Skytour. From the summit station of the Hochkarbahn, turn left - about 300 meters to the start of the 900-meter-long circular trail. Weather permitting, you can expect spectacular views from the Mostviertel region to the Danube and into Styria. See for yourself!
