Route description Hochkar summit hike
The starting point of this hiking route for the whole family is the parking lot at the Hochkarbahn valley station. On trail no. 16, you walk comfortably towards Draxlerloch. Then you go uphill, but without a noticeable incline, until you cross the Kar slope. Step by step, we follow the hiking trail until the Scheinecksattel (1,529 m).
On the scenic ridge, the path leads through fragrant dwarf pines to the Hochkar summit at 1808 m. From here, you can call yourself Hochkar summit conquerors and leave your mark in the summit book.
Author's tip
Especially in the morning, you have a great view. The valley is still covered in fog, the first rays of sun awaken the mountain peaks.
