Apprentice Cableway & Electrical Engineering Technician

As an apprentice in cableway and electrical engineering, you’ll be working right on the mountain. You’ll ensure that our chairlifts run safely and that our guests arrive in comfort. Your day-to-day work is varied. You’ll be responsible for maintenance and technical tasks. You’ll help resolve faults and keep the facilities in good working order. At the same time, you’ll be on hand for our guests and assist them with any queries. You’ll be working outdoors, in both summer and winter. Here’s what you can expect

  • Apprenticeship duration: 4 years
  • Vocational school: LBS Hallein | Salzburg

     

    As a cableway and electrical engineer, you’ll be right at the heart of the action on the mountain. You’ll operate, maintain and monitor our chairlifts and T-bar lift systems, ensuring they run safely and smoothly. This involves regular checks, maintenance and repair work, as well as ensuring compliance with all operating regulations.

     

    You’ll also take part in first aid, rescue and fire safety drills, and help with pistemaintenance. In addition, you’ll advise and look after our guests, ensuring they’re well informed whilst out on the slopes. During the summer season, the facilities undergo a full overhaul and are prepared for the following winter.

  • 3rd year of apprenticeship: €1,774.00 gross per month
  • 4th year of apprenticeship: €2,218.00 gross per month
