The Hochkar Shaft

Beneath the ground at Hochkar, an impressive world of limestone and history stretching back thousands of years unfolds. The Hochkar Cave is one of the largest caves in Lower Austria and captivates visitors with its extensive passages and remarkable formations.

Visitors exploring the cave will discover striking layered structures, smooth rock faces and impressive chambers such as the large Pfingsthalle. Over thousands of years, nature has created a unique setting here.
