Ski touring on the Hochkar

At Hochkar, there is a marked ski touring route right within the ski resort.

The route starts at thelowest car park, number 4. From there, the ascent trail initially follows the cross-country ski trail, then continues across open terrain to the mountain lake on the edge of the ski resort.

The route is ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy the ascent under their own steam.

Ski touring is permitted on this route during the winter season.
After the season ends, Run 1 (the family run) can also be used.

The route is not secured, not groomed and is not monitored.

Snowshoe hiking

At Hochkar, a snowshoe trail runs right through the ski resort, taking you through the wintry mountain landscape.

The route initially follows the cross-country ski trail and later heads into open terrain as far as the mountain lake at Hochkar.
You’ll be off the beaten track for a while, but will always remain close to the ski resort.

Ideal for anyone who wants to experience winter in peace and quiet and enjoy nature at their own pace.

Cross-country skiing on the Hochkar

There is a 1.1 km cross-country ski trail right in the Hochkar ski resort.

The trail is situated a little away from the ski slopes and offers a peaceful alternative to the hustle and bustle of the slopes. Perfect for a leisurely stroll or a short, invigorating workout.

Thanks to its mountain setting, you can enjoy a special winter atmosphere surrounded by nature.
