General Information & Safety

Well prepared for the adventure

Via ferratas are alpine routes that require the right equipment and experience. A helmet, harness, and via ferrata set are mandatory–safety always comes first.

If you are unsure, you should choose the Bergmandl via ferrata or start with someone experienced. Ascents are strongly discouraged, especially in wet conditions or thunderstorms.
